The ‘CPE 996/997 Powertrain Mounting Package’ allows you to install ANY Chevrolet LS based engine into a Porsche 996/997 (‘99-‘11) chassis using the foremost (1” forward) or rearmost (factory) position dependent on motor plate orientation! Our adapter plate will marry the Porsche G96/7.01 transaxle to the Chevrolet LS engine while our motor plates bolt into the factory Porsche engine mount location(s), suspend the engine from the cylinder heads, and work for RWD or AWD variants.
