The ‘CPE 996/997 Powertrain NO CUT Mounting Package’ facilitates the installation of any Chevrolet LSx-based engine into Porsche 996 or 997 chassis models (1999–2011) regardless of trim or body style without cutting, trimming, notching, or permanently modifying the chassis or factory sheet metal for a true bolt-in installation that’s 100% reversible!

- CPE ‘NO CUT’ Engine Position - Purpose-engineered powertrain placement provides the necessary LSx engine clearance while retaining the factory Porsche chassis and surrounding metalwork completely intact.
- Adapter Plate - Connects the Porsche 996/997 manual transaxle to a Chevrolet LSx engine and accommodates an OEM starter (GM 12617229).
- Motor Mounts - Designed to bolt into the factory Porsche engine mount locations, suspending the engine from the cylinder heads.
- CPE Tubular Transmission Support - Constructed from high-strength tubular steel, the open-frame design replaces the bulky factory support structure and relocates the powertrain further forward within the chassis, optimizing powertrain placement for our NO CUT conversion architecture.
- Belt Tensioner - Utilizes an OEM automatic belt tensioner vs fixed tensioner to continuously maintain correct belt tension.
- Compatibility: Suitable for both Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations.
